So back in the day, I wore a pair of Nike running sunglasses and put them through the dang ringer. They were so durable and light and perfect for running. I bet I wore them for 5 years. Then, I had my youngest daughter who reminds me of a real-life Tasmanian Devil and tore the nose grip off. I tried fixing them numerous times, but in the end I had to retire them. The ONLY thing about them that I didn't like was how they weren't very fashionable. They were your typical sports sunglasses and couldn't really be used for casual dress. Not long after I retired the beloved Nike sunglasses, I found out about Goodr sunglasses. I loved how affordable and trendy they were and that they offered a wide array of colors. I jumped on the Goodr bandwagon and purchased multiple pairs over the course of a year or so. I had many colors, and most recently had purchased a brown pair. I had a lot of bright colors but thought a brown pair would be good for normal everyday wear, seen pictured below.

The issue I've found with Goodr sunglasses are the fact that the lenses scratch pretty easily. I can't promise that every time I took them off, that I stored them in their case, but still. I bet not after 1 month of both my blue pair they scratched very easily. I also found that if I put them on my head when I wasn't outside, they stretched out significantly. This lead me to believe the quality wasn't what they claimed it was. That's when I found out about Tierra sunglasses. Yes, I am an ambassador for the brand, BUT I wouldn't be if I didn't believe that they sold quality sunglasses. Right out of the box, I felt the difference. The frames are a lighter weight than the Goodr, the lenses are clearer and the durability is better. Plus, if you use the code ERIN5OFF, you can receive $5 off your first pair, and they're already only $25. I only have one pair right now, but plan to buy more in the next few weeks. So, that's my review of Goodr vs Tierra. The only way you can decide for yourself is to buy a pair of both!
